ONÓRIO MANUEL ELEITO PRESIDENTE DA CCMUSA
Onório Manuel eleito novo Presidente da CÂMARA DE COMÉRCIO MOÇAMBIQUE – ESTADOS UNIDOS DA AMÉRICA (CCMUSA) durante a Assembleia Geral Ordinária realizada no dia 30 de Abril de 2024 em Maputo. Entre as diversas actividades agendadas para a assembleia assistiu-se a apresentação e aprovação, por unanimidade, do Relatório de Actividades e Contas referentes ao ano de 2023. Intervindo durante a ocasião, o novo Presidente da CCMUSA garantiu que os órgãos sociais recentemente eleitos vão trabalhar no sentido de atender às necessidades institucionais da Câmara, incluindo os membros e parceiros de cooperação. “Os objectivos estratégicos para o triénio 2024-2027 visam valorizar os associados, tornando a CCMUSA numa referência e um impulsionador de desenvolvimento empresarial entre Moçambique e os Estados Unidos da América. Continuaremos a consolidar as condições para uma instituição de referência baseada nos seus pilares estratégicos de actuação assentes em cinco (5) esferas principais: serviço de apoio às empresas, facilitador de relacionamentos, capacitação interna, cooperação internacional, transição digital e de sustentabilidade”, detalhou Onório. No final da sessão, o Presidente de Mesa, Duarte Dlhalane, em representação do BCI, saudou os novos membros dos Órgãos Sociais e enalteceu o excelente trabalho realizado pela Direcção cessante liderada pelo Dr. Evaristo Madime. “Numa conjuntura complexa e arrasadora para o sector empresarial e para toda a sociedade, de forma geral, esta Direcção foi capaz de manter as actividades em grande nível”, concluiu. Among the various activities scheduled for the assembly, there was the presentation and unanimous approval of the Activity and Accounts Report for the year 2023. Intervening during the occasion, the new President of CCMUSA assured that the recently elected corporate bodies will work to meet the institutional needs of the Chamber, including members and cooperation partners. “The strategic objectives for the 2024-2027 three-year period aim to value members, making CCMUSA a reference and a driver of business development between Mozambique and the United States of America. We will continue to consolidate the conditions for a reference institution based on its strategic pillars of action based on five (5) main spheres: business support service, relationship facilitator, internal training, international cooperation, digital transition and sustainability”, detailed Onório. Intervening at the end of the session, the Chairman of the Board, Duarte Dlhalane, representing BCI, welcomed the new members of the Governing Bodies and praised the excellent work carried out by the outgoing Board led by Dr. Evaristo Madime. “In a complex and devastating situation for the business sector and for society as a whole, this Department was able to maintain activities at a high level”, he concluded.
